Hi Rachael,
I’ve been browsing the internet for advice and came across your website again!
I’ve recently started working part-time for a college, teaching ESOL to adults. The college uses a coursebook, which is something I feel out of practice with. I’m just after any advice about how to effectively use a coursebook in class. I have done a few lessons so far, where we are literally going through the coursebook (I mix it up a little with conversation and group feedback), but just feel like the students could probably learn the same info by just staying at home and going through the book (if that makes sense). How can I avoid this? Any tips on how can I use the coursebook effectively?
Really appreciate your help,
Emma
